CWCB will host a webinar on Aug 6th on the Colorado Contribution Program and is seeking public input on the program development

To take advantage of $100 million in federal funding made available to the four Upper Division States, the CWCB is developing a Near-Term Contribution Program in 2027-2028, in coordination with the Upper Colorado River Commission and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The voluntary, federally funded program is intended to support water contributions that will be credited to the Upper Division States. The Upper Division States are working with the BOR on an agreement regarding the accounting and crediting of contributed water.

CWCB welcomes your input as the program criteria are developed. Please take a few minutes to complete the CWCB questionnaire (link) and share broadly with your Basin Roundtable. CWCB greatly values the perspectives many of you have provided through past discussions and appreciates your continued engagement. The current list of criteria is available on the CWCB website HERE.

The CWCB will host an informational webinar for water users on Thursday, August 6th, at 12:00pm. Please feel free to distribute the meeting information through your networks.
