There are two phases to our project: Task 1 is for the Company to obtain accurate cost estimates for the alternatives to mitigate seepage from each abutment. The left abutment mitigation will require a separate project from that required for the right abutment. The cost estimates will enable the Reservoir Company to select the most efficient and effective repair projects from the alternatives already presented. This will allow the Company to develop a detailed design plan for submission to the Division of Water Resources for final approval of the repair projects. Task 2 is to replace the outlet’s hydraulic power unit, hydraulic reservoir and hydraulic lines with the recommended upgrades and encase the new lines in conduit. These upgrades will ensure that the outlet system has optimal capability for safe and efficient operation now and for the foreseeable future.
